The Creative Management team is part of Yahoo! Sales. The team consists of Creative Strategists who develop the advertising “creative†(keywords, titles & descriptions and ad groups) for advertisers running Yahoo! Search Marketing campaigns. Primary Responsibilities:
• “Own†a set of our highest-value advertiser accounts together with your Sales counterparts.
• Work independently to identify, prioritize and provide necessary service and pro-active advice for improvement of assigned accounts either through best practice implementation, account analysis, and/or category expertise.
• Work directly with advertisers at all levels of their organization helping to diagnose their issues, identify opportunities and promote behavior that grows spends with YSM but also ensures long-term client success. This can include daily interaction as well as preparation and delivery of monthly and quarterly senior executive presentations.
• Be an expert with respect to YSM guidelines and search marketing best practices and be able to communicate these to all levels of our advertisers' organizations.
• Be an expert in at least one of YSM's core industry categories, helping to drive thinking around that category, share best practices and be a resource to other members of the Yahoo! organization with respect to that category.
• Continually drive new thinking with respect to management of search marketing campaigns, including development of best practices, development of new analytical techniques, industry-specific insights, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
• Demonstrated experience providing strategic marketing advice either within a blue-chip company or as part of an agency.
• Strong understanding of all facets of marketing, search marketing and best practice campaign development and management and a willingness to continue to stay contemporary on trends within the industry
• Ability to solve problems and identify opportunities through the use of analytics, category expertise and critical thinking
• Excellent communications skills with an ability to “think on your feetâ€
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications:
